We are Blessed!

As most of you know, Matthew was blessed in church last Sunday. It was a wonderful day we were able to spend with many members of our family. Matthew’s outfit was made by my mom and patterned after the one Uncle Mikey wore to his blessing. John said it looked he looked like he was ready to go out on the disco floor (because it was polyester with a satin vest & tie), but Matthew looked darling. After the blessing we took pictures (of course) and then had a lunch.

This past week, as I have had the chance to reflect on Matthew’s special day; I am reminded of what a blessing he is to John & I. It took a while for this little blessing to come into our lives, and after almost three years – it was indescribable joy to be able to hold my own baby. During those three years, I almost forgot how hard it was to be a parent and I thought that my heart might not be able to fully heal. But as we spend countless nights with little or no sleep and have countless moments of worry, there are many tiny blessings the Lord grants us with this little one. The little smiles and coos are wonderful, but so are the times when our prayers are answered for Matthew to be alleviated of pain or for the strength to get through one more day. When it comes to expressing my thoughts, words sometimes fail me; but I want our family to know that we know the Lord is mindful of us and blesses us immensely. His timing or solution may not always be when or what we would like it to, but He is there and will help us through each trial and each day.

We are grateful for our many many blessing the Lord has given to us, most of which come through you – our family and friends.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations & love for little Matthew. Things are going great (besides his digestive issues & the fact that his "cute time" is around 11:30 p.m. and usually 2 a.m. - during which he demands attention).

Becky will go back to work on the 30th. Full time for two weeks & then just two days a week (enough for diaper money). Our upstairs neighbor is going to watch him (she has a 15 month old & is expecting in October - so she figures it will be good practice). It will be an interesting process, but I'm sure I'll be ok.

Blessing date is set for July 6th @ 10:00 @ the Chuck-O-Rama Church (ok church by chuck-o-rama on 4oo South). Sorry, no endless buffet that day but we will meet @ a park near by for cold cuts.

Update again. Everything is pretty much the same. Except Matthew (name of the kid that is popping out soon... maybe) is growing big. he likes to wake becky up at nights. His most active time is when becky lays down to go sleeping, and he punches, kicks, headbutts, and otherwise assaults the mattress (it is his nemesis). We are looking for a house, but no luck yet. Most are old and decrepit and too expensive. So, we will see. Thats all for now. We will update you when we have more news.

Okay people. About time I updated our stuff. Becky has a new job at primary childrens as a medical receptionist for the Pediatric Neurosurgery dept. Much less stress and a much better environment. We now have a 2 bdrm place downtown, two blocks from where we were.

I am still at Humaniz. I am the Creative Director and looking for some good assets to join the team there. It is a huge challenge, but I am learning a lot and taking everything in. Great experience. I am the YM pres. here and Becky is the Stake Relief society Secretary. Keeps us really busy! Everyone should visit us in SLC! Paragraph

So, an update. we are in Salt Lake. We have a little one bedroom apartment downtown, just big enough for us right now. We are settled in and Becky is working for IHC at a clinic two blocks from our place. I work 15 minutes away on the other side of the city, closer to I-15.

I work for Humaniz Interactive downtown. They do great web development and on-line strategy work. Good environment and great co-workers.

we went up for new years to becky's folks in Burley, but first stopped by Rexburg to see Nathan and Emily's new addition, Julian. Cute kid with a ton of hair. We had fun visiting for a while. That is the extent of our news. We will let everyone else know if there is anything else.

We're back to reality and Reburg....
Thanks for all your love and support. We loved getting to see most of you and to talk to the rest of you. We appreciate all your prayers on our behalf ever since Faithy was born. We witnessed many miracles in her lifetime and we are very grateful for the 10 months and 4 days that we got to spend in her presence.
Some days are harder than others. But we are so grateful for our knowledge that we will be able to see and raise our sweet baby girl again.

Becky is still working on her final papers for her English class and should be done in a week and a half or so.
John is catching up on freelance work (since he spent a lot of our "break" doing honey-do's like Faith's program, headstone, and DVDs) and planning a roadtrip to California to interview.
We had our 4th wedding anniversary on the 8th and went to the temple, dinner, and rented a movie.
We will try and keep you up to date when we know where and when we are moving.
We Love you All very much! Give your kids extra hugs from Uncle John and Aunt Becky. :)

Well, its official (until the final grades come in...)

I just graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. I will now go job hunting to find somewheres to settle for a while.

Becky will officially be done in june when her online class and internship credit is done. then she is done o ramma too.

Faithy has a bad rash right now. we have to put gunk on it 3 times a day to try to get rid of it. it is like a yeast infection or something. pretty nasty. she is not a happy camper, but she is getting better.

For the most part, she is over the bronchitis stuff. She is scheduled to get her tummy button in mid-May. We still have to hear back from the doctors.

we will let everyone know where we go when we get it solidified.
