Life in Colorado just keeps on moving! Joseph (Jo-Jo) is getting bigger and changing every day. He is just starting to roll over from back to front. He is trying to get a little bit of hair. Last week he was 12 lbs 1 oz. His head is big--75%. He loves to play and smile and giggle.
Teralynn is beginning to sound out words. She read "Mrs. Butter" on the syrup container yesterday morning. It was a Mrs. Butterworth syrup with a hyphen after the butter! She is so smart! She likes to put stickers on her ears as earrings. It doesn't matter that they are 2" big and hang off--she thinks it's pretty!
Ethan is doing great in kindergarten. He loves to build legos and play. He is pestering Steve quite regularly. He likes to poke him, slap him, punch him until Steve pounds him back. World War III commences everynight as a result. They are going to be put in separate rooms.
Brittany is enjoying dance and piano. She is a very good help with Joseph. She loves to hold him and play with him. She helped paint her new room in the basement.
Steven is growing very fast. He's already up to my nose! He is an avid reader and is enjoying Eragon now. He loves Guitar Hero and Civilization. He is fun to have around. Paragraph
Lydia is adjusting to being as stay at home mom. She has been so busy she hasn't had a chance to miss working too much. She has been rearranging bedrooms lately. She has also been reading--there's not much else you can do while feeding the baby. She just fininshed the last of Stephenie Meyer's books. Paragraph
Warren has been very busy with his new job. He took the second section of the CPA exam yesterday. We hope he passed both of them!! He likes to play Guitar Hero with steve. We have enjoyed some hiking this winter as the weather has been quite warm. When Portland had snow, we had none! Have a great day! |

Last weekend, Lydia hiked Pikes Peak! It took 8 hours 15 min to make the 13 mile hike up 8,000feet elevation!! It was long and hard, but I want to do it again with Warren!! Check out the pictures! Paragraph
Yesterday, we went to the Colorado Balloon Classic. It was so amazing! Over 90 balloons took off in about 1 1/2 hours!! We had to arrive at 6:30 am, as the cool of the morning is the best time for the balloons. We were able to walk among the balloons as they rolled out the canvas, inflated the balloons with large fans, heated up the air, and eventually lifted off the ground! We saw all kinds of different balloons. It was definitely worth getting up early! Check out the pictures we uploaded. |

Colorado has got to be the most beautiful place on the planet (besides the Japanese Gardens Joe is seeing).
